Sustainability at Clara Himmel

We believe in mindful, sustainable and positive consumption. Sustainability has always been a very important topic for me and my company. I have spent the last few years building up a fashion label that not only produces fairly, but also creates timeless, durable clothing.

The entire Clara Himmel team tries to act as ethically and ecologically as we can at the moment. Our goal is to create garments that do not pollute the environment and leave the smallest possible ecological footprint on our world. 

Sustainability is a process that is still in its infancy and grows with its challenges and must be continuously developed.

From day one, all of our products were 100% made in Germany to save on long transport routes. We continue to carry this thought to this day: We try to keep our supply chain as short as possible and build long-term and trusting relationships with our suppliers and producers.

Our garments are still produced with a lot of love in our workshop in Germany and meanwhile also in small family businesses in Portugal in a social and fair way.

We also attach great importance to sustainability when selecting our fabrics, for example we use high-quality organic cotton and lyocell. All our fabrics meet strict standards and quality requirements and you can be sure that our fabrics do not contain any harmful chemicals. The result is a pleasant product for skin and health.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of packaging waste in online retail. In order to burden the environment as little as possible in this area, our packaging is made of 100% recycled cardboard or grass cardboard and every order is sent to your home plastic-free.

We are proud that from now on we only process logo labels and care labels made from 100% organic cotton. Our hangtags are also made from recycled cardboard.

We're not perfect yet, but we work every day to be a little bit better. We have big plans for the future and with our work we want to make the world a little bit more positive, beautiful and colorful every day.
